Intent

Make language contribute product identity and useful hierarchy instead of making an authored visual system feel generated and interchangeable.

Checks

  • Replace generic claims with audience vocabulary, concrete nouns, real actions, constraints, and distinguishing details.
  • Keep brand, product, plan, event, and place names consistent across navigation, headings, labels, and actions.
  • Use one primary action phrase for one outcome rather than rotating generic CTA synonyms.

Warnings

  • A phrase is not prohibited when the surrounding sentence makes a specific, supportable claim.

Exceptions

  • An established brand line may intentionally use abstract language when supplied by the user.
